BT 4:

A series of modernist lighting pieces designed by Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. in collaboration with Gianni Gamberini, in 1971, for Sormani Nucleo. The pieces include a double paneled wall light (BT1), a square based table lamp (BT2) and a tall floor lamp (BT4). Each of the lighting pieces are composed of a chromed steel body onto which are attached, via magnets, a plastic cylindrical light source. The BT series of lighting can be found in the collections of several museums across Europe; the BT2 table lamp part of the permanent collection of the MoMa in New York. Each of the pieces from the BT series comes with an original Sormani Nucleo label signed by Luigi Sormani, as well as a classic Sormani silver label.
